Connectivity Issue due to EC2 Outage

We’re currently having an unexpected outage, and some of you may be facing intermittent connectivity with the service or facing issues signing up for new accounts. We are doing everything we can to resolve this and get Convofy fully back up as soon as possible.

Convofy servers are hosted on Amazon Web Services, and throughout today, you may have heard of several services including FoursquareQuoraReddit and Hootsuite also facing outages. These outages are also affecting our servers. More information here:  https://www.zdnet.com/blog/btl/amazons-n-virginia-ec2-cluster-down-networking-event-triggered-problems/47679

Our apologies for the inconvenience this is causing you and thank you for your patience. We will update again on this blog and on Twitter (@convofy) when everything is back to normal.

Update: 
Amazon is reporting that all systems are up and running over at http://status.aws.amazon.com/.  We have tested services at our end and everything is in order.
We are happy to report that Convofy services were available throughout last week’s EC2 outage. Initially, we experienced some degraded services limited to new user sign ups, new group creation and guest members invitations but, just one sleepless night into the outage, our engineering team was able to get all our services back up, even when AWS was still having trouble.
Anyone who had trouble in the specified areas are requested to try again.
